Easter was today, and whether not you celebrate Easter  I hope you celebrate stuffed eggs, or what we call them in the South, Deiled eggs. Maybe the reason they are that is because they are too good and not the healthiest option for the use of eggs… but none the less, they are good!!! and present at any Pates Family Gathering…

Here is an easy way to “up” your deviled egg game.

Ingredients:

6 eggs

4 heaping tablespoons of Dukes mayonnaise (or really any mayonnaise is fine)

2 tablespoons of mustard

1/2 tablespoon of Pates Original or Spicy (we use Spicy for this, and just as a side note, you can always add more ;))

4 pieces of crispy cooked bacon – chopped

fresh cracked pepper to taste

pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS:

Boils eggs – cover eggs in pot and cover with water, brig to boil, reduce heat and cook for 3-4 minutes, then set aside to cool, remove shells.

Cut eggs in half and remove the yolk and place yolks in a mixing bowl

Mix together yolks, mayo, mustard, salt and pepper, Pates Seasoning, and most of bacon. (Reserve just enough small pieces of bacon per egg to garnish on top.)

Add mayo/mustard mixture to each egg half

sprinkle a bit more PFS on top of the eggs and then place a small piece of bacon on each egg as garnish.

Then, serve…  and don’t be surprised if they all disappear.

Boom.
